Conduct a comprehensive security assessment of the e-commerce platform to identify vulnerabilities and areas that need improvement. This includes conducting penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and code review.
    • Secure coding

Implement secure coding practices and follow industry-standard security guidelines, such as OWASP Top Ten and PCI DSS compliance, when developing and deploying E-commerce applications.
    • Incident response plans

Develop a robust incident response plan to detect, respond, and recover from cyber-attacks. This includes creating a plan to notify customers of any potential data breaches.
    • Two-factor authentication

Implement two-factor authentication and multi-factor authentication for user logins and encrypt all sensitive data, including payment information and personal customer data.
    • Platform monitoring

Monitor the E-commerce platform for suspicious activity, such as abnormal login attempts or transactions, and implement an intrusion detection system to alert IT teams of any potential threats.
  • Mobile optimization

    • With the rise of mobile shopping, you need to ensure that your websites and platforms are optimized for mobile devices. This includes everything from site speed to user experience.
    • Platform analysis

Conduct a thorough analysis of the E-commerce platform to identify areas where the user experience can be improved on mobile devices. This includes evaluating the website speed, navigation, layout, and functionality.
    • Website optimization

Optimize the website for mobile devices, including designing a responsive website that can adapt to different screen sizes and resolutions. This can be achieved through the use of responsive design frameworks and optimizing image sizes.
    • Mobile-first approach

Implement a mobile-first approach to design and development, ensuring that your e-commerce platform is built with mobile users in mind. This includes designing a streamlined mobile checkout process, making sure that buttons and links are easily clickable on mobile devices, or optimizing mobile forms.
    • User testing

Conduct user testing on mobile devices to ensure that your website is user-friendly and easy to navigate on smaller screens. This includes testing the website on different mobile devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
    • Analytics implementation

Implement analytics and tracking tools to measure the performance of your e-commerce platform on mobile devices and use this data to make data-driven decisions to optimize the mobile experience.
  • Personalization

    • Customers are increasingly looking for personalized experiences when shopping online. Your business should be able to collect and analyze customer data in order to provide tailored recommendations and personalized shopping experiences.
    • Customer data analysis

Analyze customer data to identify trends and patterns in shopping behavior, including purchase history, browsing history, and search queries.
    • Machine learning algorithms

Implement recommendation engines that use ML algorithms to personalize the shopping experience for your customers. Recommend products based on past purchase history and browsing behavior, or use collaborative filtering techniques to recommend products that are popular among similar customers.
    • Customer data platforms

Develop a CDP that centralizes customer data from multiple sources, including website interactions, mobile app usage, and social media engagement. Get a more holistic view of the customer to personalize the shopping experience across all channels.
    • Chatbots & virtual assistants

Implement chatbots and virtual assistants that use NLP to provide personalized assistance to customers. This includes answering customer questions, recommending products, and providing personalized promotions and discounts.
    • A/B testing

Use A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different personalized experiences, such as personalized product recommendations, personalized emails, and personalized landing pages. This allows for continuous optimization of the personalization strategy.
    • Real-time personalization

Implement real-time personalization to deliver a personalized experience as customers interact with your website or mobile app. Dynamically update product recommendations based on browsing behavior and personalize website content based on customer demographics.
  • Supply chain management

    • With the rise of fast shipping and same-day delivery, logistics and supply chain management has become more important than ever for e-commerce businesses. They need to be able to manage inventory, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
    • Cloud-driven management system

Implement cloud-based supply chain management systems that provide real-time visibility into inventory levels, order status, and delivery timelines. Integrate with the e-commerce platform, logistics providers, and other third-party systems to create a centralized view of the entire supply chain.
    • Blockchain-based solutions

Develop blockchain-based solutions that provide end-to-end traceability of products and ensure the integrity of the supply chain. Track the movement of goods from the manufacturer to the end consumer and utilize smart contracts to automate payments and order fulfillment.
    • IoT sensors & devices

Implement IoT sensors and devices to track inventory levels and monitor environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. Proactively manage the supply chain, including getting alerts for stock replenishment and quality control issues.
    • Predictive analytics modeling

Develop predictive analytics models that use machine learning algorithms to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels. Analyze historical sales data, as well as external factors such as seasonality and consumer trends, to optimize the supply chain and reduce stockouts.
    • RPA implementation

Implement robotic process automation to automate supply chain processes such as order processing, invoice management, and shipment tracking. Reduce manual errors and speed up the supply chain process, leading to faster delivery times and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Scalability

    • E-commerce businesses need to be able to handle increasing amounts of traffic and sales as they grow. They need to be able to scale their platforms and infrastructure in order to handle spikes in demand.
    • Microservice-based architecture

Develop microservices-based architectures that allow for modular and independent scaling of different components of the e-commerce platform. This includes using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to manage the deployment and scaling of microservices.
    • DevOps practices

Use DevOps practices to streamline the software development lifecycle and reduce time-to-market. This includes automating build and deployment processes, as well as implementing continuous testing and integration to ensure that changes to the platform can be rolled out quickly and reliably.
    • UX & UI optimization

Develop UX and UI interfaces that are optimized for scalability. This includes designing interfaces that are easy to navigate and can handle large volumes of traffic, as well as using responsive design techniques that ensure that the platform is accessible across different devices and screen sizes.
    • Testing & QA frameworks

Use testing and quality assurance frameworks to ensure that the E-commerce platform is scalable and can handle spikes in traffic and transaction volumes. This includes stress testing and performance testing, as well as continuous monitoring and optimization of the platform's infrastructure.

  • What are the differences between hiring an employee on an employment contract and B2B?

    • B2B and employment contracts primarily differ regarding the body of law to which the parties to both contracts are subject. For an employment contract, it is the Polish Labor Code, and for B2B contracts it is the Civil Code.

One of the more significant differences is the tax and social security payment liability. The employer covers these costs for an employee under an employment contract. In case of a B2B contract, the costs are borne by the contractor.

In addition, an employee on an employment contract is provided with paid vacation (20 or 26 days depending on tenure), paid sick leave, and additional days off for occasional special situations (funerals, births, etc.). An individual on a B2B contract may be provided with paid vacation under the terms of a gentleman's agreement with the employer.

Both contracts also differ in their notice periods: for an employment contract, the notice period ranges from 2 weeks to 3 months, while for a B2B contract, it is flexible, but usually 1 month.
  • How long does it take you to deliver a specialist/a team of specialists?

    • It depends upon the role, its complexity, and technical requirements. Usually, it takes us between 5 and 15 working days to fill a vacancy.
  • How do Link Group’s contractors report their working hours?

    • It works both ways: Contractors monitor and report their hours directly in the client's ATS system, where at the end of each month managers approve them or conduct the hourly reports in their Spreadsheets (also approved by the managers).
